04 / THE APPROACH

How the work
takes shape.

You bring the knowledge of your business. We bring the design and engineering to turn it into something that works.

  1. Understand the work.

We get to know your operation: the people, the systems, what gets in the way, and what you want to achieve.

  2. Shape the solution.

We work through the workflows, connections, and early designs with you, so you can see how the solution will fit.

  3. Build, test, refine.

You review working versions as they develop. We test the details, prepare the launch, and plan how the system will be cared for.

05 / BUILT BY US. OWNED BY YOU.

Your code.
Your data.
Your next move.

We build systems that give you control. Clear ownership, proper handover, and the freedom to decide what comes next.

What ownership means

06 / BEFORE WE GET STARTED

A few things
worth knowing.

All questions
01What if I don’t know exactly what I need?

That’s what the first conversation is for. Tell us what isn’t working, what your team works around, or what you wish you could do. We’ll ask the right questions and help turn it into a clear next step.

02Do you work on both focused projects and larger platforms?

Yes. The starting point might be one recurring problem or a system that needs to connect an entire operation. We define the right scope around the business need, the existing environment, and what success looks like.

03Can you work with the software we already use?

Absolutely. We can connect existing systems, fill the gaps, or replace a tool that no longer fits. During discovery, we look at the available integrations, data, and constraints before recommending an approach.

04What does “you own it” mean?

You receive the agreed custom code and deliverables under your project agreement, including its payment and handover terms. Your business data remains yours; third-party services retain their own licenses and terms. A live application also needs ongoing care. Before launch, we agree who handles hosting, monitoring, backups, and security updates—Bridgework, your team, or another provider.

05How do you price a project?

For a defined project, we agree the scope and price before work begins. Payment can follow agreed milestones or a monthly schedule. For ongoing development and care, we agree a monthly scope or capacity, priorities, and what is included. Changes are discussed before additional work starts.
